I wrote this album and recorded these songs while writing a novel called Suffering Grace which is available on Kindle reader devices. Most of the lyrics seem to come from thoughts that one of the two main caricatures might have had in the story about two kids who make a band and discover life outside the town they grew up in. In my opinion the nylon stringed classical guitar, tuned way too low, and the jazz organ compliment and support the overdriven low bass texture with a fullness I haven't been able to achieve before.
