I wrote and recorded these songs while I was writing a novel called Zipper (available for Kindle now) With this album I intended to create a soft, dark mood by using a fretless bass and playing simple overtone melodies on cello. In the song heartache box you can hear a recording I made outdoors to capture the sound of crunching dead leaves beneath my feet as I walked through a forest. Starting to sense a theme here?
